The Seismic Data Management & Service System was approved by seismologists

China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC) organized seismologists to approve the Seismic Data Management and Service System Construction Project on February 19, 2008. The approval group was compose of 9 experts: Prof. Yin Chaomin (the president of CENC), Mr. Li Qianghua (vice-president of CENC), Prof. Liu Ruifeng (general-engineer of CENC), Mr. Yu Shuming (chief of section from CEA), Prof. Zhao Zhonghe (chief of the approval group), Prof. Xue Feng, Mr. Peng Keyin (chief of section from CENC), Mrs. Wu Min (chief of the test group) and Mr. Li Dahui. Mr. Dai Guanghui, the project manager, gave a lecture to introduce and demonstrate the website system online. Mrs. Wu Min also submitted the test report. After reading the project documentations, inquired and discussed, the experts group believed that the project fully displayed the seismic data produced by CENC. The rich data source were provided and shared for users in various style and good social efficiency was achieved. The project was commonly approved by the experts group.

The Seismic Data Management and Service System is a seismological website (in Chinese) produced and maintained by China Earthquake Network Center. It provides seismologists and the public with data produced by China Seismograph Network. The main data includes: CSN stations’ parameters, responses, waveform data, catalog, phase report and CMT solutions. We also collect some data from such international seismological institutions as ISC, NEIC, Harvard University etc..
